Porque las \u00faltimas estad\u00edsticas muestran que los veh\u00edculos h\u00edbridos son los que m\u00e1s incendios registran por cada 100.000 ventas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is the difference between an EV car and a hybrid car?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A hybrid car is not the same as an electric car. The difference between the two is that a hybrid vehicle uses two engines: a \u2018regular\u2019 engine and an electric motor. Because of the regular engine, the hybrid car can drive on fuel (diesel or petrol). But why? Apparently, the presence of a gasoline enginge next to a high-powered electric battery system is the cause of most problems with hybrid cars. The combinations of these two together generate a lot of heat. This heat can be dangerous for the lithium-ion battery in the car and possibly cause a thermal runaway and fire.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Controlling a hybrid car fire with the Fire Isolator<\/strong> <strong>Concept<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In one of our <a href=\"https:\/\/fireisolator.com\/how-does-an-ev-car-catch-fire-the-process\/\">previous news items<\/a>, we explained why it is so hard to put out an EV car fire.
